Russia says it’s creating killer anti-terror robots.

It’s the wave of the future, at least here in The Motherland. Russia says it’s developing special robots that will neutralize terrorists and help minimalize the causalities of a terrorist attack. The head of Russia’s Defense Industry says that the killer robots will also be able to evacuate injured civilians and servicemen from the scene. Dmitry Rogozin says that Moscow is also creating systems that can see terrorists through obstacles and engage them in a standoff without injuring hostages.

Editor’s Note: Human rights organizations have criticized the so-called killer robots, saying that the autonomous weapons won’t be able to meet international standards because it’s unclear who would be responsible for the robots’ actions in the event that they kill someone.

A slew of research has already shown being under stress at work is linked to a higher risk of heart problems. But a new study from University College in London finds heart risks were cut in half among people who maintained a healthy lifestyle compared to those who drank, smoked or were obese. Researchers say for many having stress at work is unavoidable, but the negative effects can be offset by being active and eating a balanced diet.

Online blogging site Tumblr is being bought by Yahoo for a big price tag.

Yahoo will pay $1.1 billion to buy Tumblr, a photo-blog site that is to images what Twitter is to 140 character messages. Tumblr has 117 million users. It’s strong among people under age 25, giving Yahoo a new claim to cool. Never mind that Tumblr had only $13 million in ad sales last year. Yahoo’s CEO Marissa Mayer says Tumblr will add significant revenues next year. But advertisers could balk at some of the fringy kinky content on the site. And a big question is whether Tumblr’s hipster fans will stick around, they are up in arms about this deal.

Because deer ticks aren’t just about Lyme Disease anymore.

Dr. Sam Telford of Tufts University says researchers are now finding there are at least four other diseases you can get…

(Dr. Telford) “Borrelia Miyamotoi Disease, then there’s Human Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis, then there’s Babesiosis, then there’s Deer Tick Virus, which is a relative of West Nile Virus and causes encephalitis.”

The one warning sign you should be looking out for this summer is fever. If you get a fever, but you don’t have a cough or runny nose, get to a doctor and get checked for deer tick bits.

The outgoing head of the Internal Revenue Service says politics was not a factor in the agency targeting Tea Party groups. But he still underwent a tough grilling before the house ways and means committee.

Texas Republican Kevin Brady asked the question four times and eventually got an answer from acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller.

(Brady) “Who was responsible for targeting these individuals?”
(Miller) “I don’t have names for you, Mr. Brady. And I’m willing to try to find that out.”

And while Miller admits to IRS mistakes, Washington State Democrat Jim McDermott says lawmakers share some blame.

(McDermott) “By not giving any clear criteria for what a real charitable organization is.”

Miller also apologized on behalf of the entire IRS for what he called mistakes and poor service.

REINCE PRIEBUS, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, had a visceral reaction to President Obama’s non-answer on whether anyone in the White House knew about the investigations going on at the IRS before the Inspector General’s report was released.  Priebus sounded off, “So right there, to me, I was a litigator for 14 years, the entire deposition, the entire testimony, if there is anywhere you need to go, it is right there, that question and that answer.  Either he just admitted that in fact he did know about the investigation…He purposely didn’t answer the question when he then started out the question by saying I’m going to answer the question specifically and then he specifically didn’t answer the question.  That exchange right there, is where people need to look at!”

Brian sat down with legendary tennis bad boy JIMMY CONNORS, author of The Outsider: A Memoir, and they talked about some of his legendary matches and contrasted how Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe (“Mack”) played the game.  Connors said that even when he sees Mack today he still gets that little twinge in his stomach and his shoulder hunch a little bit, “There is always that little something that reminds me how important it was when I played him.”

HOUR TWO

REP. SPENCER BACHUS (R-AL) explained what he was trying to get at when he drilled Attorney General Holder about when and how he recused himself from the AP investigation.  Bachus explained, “There is a formal process, he is supposed to do it in writing.”  Bachus wants to know when exactly Holder recused himself.  “We don’t know…he doesn’t know.  This is the top law enforcement officer in the federal government and he didn’t follow the law.”

Chris Stirewalt, Fox News Digital Politics Editor and host of the online show “Power Play,” joined Brian for some post-hearing analysis.  Outgoing IRS Chief Steve Miller apologized today at a hearing on Capitol Hill, calling the agency’s actions “foolish” while claiming it was not motivated by partisanship. Chris told Brian that this goes well beyond a misunderstanding of the law, “This thing will only get bigger until the Administration and the people at the IRS get real, get aggressive and get serious.”

HOUR THREE

Just call her “Acronym Aly”—Fox’s Alisyn Camerota explained how she is sick of the government being in both BOLO (be on the lookout list) and CYA (cover you’re a$$) mode.  Aly thinks it is a simple question, “Who issued the BOLO?”  Aly went on to remind Brian that even the TEA in Tea Party stands for something—Taxed Enough Already!

Three’s a Crowd?  Brian and Alisyn, both being parents of three kids, gave Doug Brunt, husband of FOX’s Megyn Kelly and author of Ghosts of Manhattan, some tips on what to expect when Megyn and he welcome their third child later this summer.  Aly warned that the third child really upsets the apple cart because you can no longer play a man-on-man defense!

(Driver) “It’s very frustrating.”

Gail Weinholzer with AAA in Minnesota says maintenance has shutdown two big oil refineries that supply the upper Midwest and… 

(Weinholzer) “We will not see any significant decline before the middle of June  We may not see any significant decline before the 4th of July.”

Same story for states like Iowa where AAA says the average price is $3.87 and rising. Or Minnesota close to $4.20. Chicagogasprices.com shows a station here with a posted price of $4.79 for a gallon of Regular Unleaded.
