Pastor Terry Jones of Gainesville, Florida should knock it off. He’s going to get American soldiers killed because he wants to run a publicity stunt that will get his face on tv.

Pastor Jones says he will burn a pile of Korans on Saturday, the ninth anniversary of 9/11. There is no doubt his event will be widely broadcast in the Muslim world, and there is no doubt those pictures will result in one, or two, or many more Americans soldiers getting killed. Even General David Petraeus says so.

But Pastor Jones has his moment in the spotlight and he won’t let it go. Even as he is warned by America’s top combat general, he won’t back down.

But he should. Otherwise he will have American blood on his hands.

Dumb! Now everyone is weighing in on the “Burn the Koran” event being held on 9/11/10 by Pastor Terry Jones. Naturally, the Far Left is blaming the Right for this Pastor’s idiotic and provocative plan. Shouldn’t he cancel this event and how again is the “Right” to blame? Gibson weighs in.

Supply Side! President Obama heads to Ohio today to advocate Tax Cuts Republicans have been begging him to make for two years. Plus, if the Bush Tax Cuts were “for the rich” and they “didn’t work,” why is the President extending them for 98 percent of the country? Gibson examines.

Doppelganger! The NAACP along with Media Matters and Think Progress has set up a new website to “Track” the avalanche of “racism” that doesn’t happen at “Tea Party” events. This is part of the winning strategy of calling anyone who disagrees with Democrats “racists.” Gibson judges.

Should the country become more unionized or less?
I know it angers many union stalwarts, but I say less. For starters, I am opposed to public employee unions, period. I think they should be banned. Why? Because they are going to bleed the rest of us dry. Public employee unions, from coast to coast, collect dues from their members, and funnel the money into political campaigns against politicians who understand how badly public employee retirement promises are damaging the country. These unions have a hammer lock on the state and municipal political structure and they’re trying to extend that same control on the national level.
Unions in this country went into debt to the tune of about $200 million to get Obama elected, and the SEIU President Andy Stern immediately cashed in with more visits to the Oval Office than any other person during the first few months of the Obama administration.
Unions believe you have a right to a job, even if there is little or no commercial underpinning for that job. That attitude is wrong and harmful to the nation.

Snark! Yesterday at the “Labor Fest” in Milwaukee, President Obama confidently told America that our nation will get back on track by spending Fifty Billion additional dollars on things like “Light Rail” systems and “infrastructure” (see Union jobs.) He then ripped into Republicans with vigor and said they speak about him, “like a dog.” Gibson examines.

Hack-O-Rama! A consortium of 150 Groups from Code Pink to the NEA, AFL-CIO and the NAACP are planning a “Beck Style” March on Washington, DC on October 2nd. It will be called, the “One Nation March.” It is meant to say that Americans have a “right” to a Job, to collectively bargain, to a free education and to Social Justice. Gibson previews.

Dumb! Pastor Terry Jones and his nutty “International Burn a Koran Day” event scheduled for this September 11th is now drawing criticism from General David Patraeus. He says it may get soldiers killed. Meanwhile, huge rallies against this ONE EVENT are being held from Kabul to Indonesia. Shouldn’t this nut cancel the event? Gibson judges him.

Plus: 60 Percent of Women lie and say they would date Unemployed Guy in new Poll, Cynthia Tucker says antipathy toward Obama’s Policies is White’s afraid of losing Power and Paul Krugman has lost his mind.

Remember that billboard that showed a picture of bush and the question, miss me yet?
Well, a businessman in Ozark, Missouri has updated the concept. His billboard asks two questions: vote for obama? Embarrassed yet?
It’s an appropriate question today as president obama had to be dragged out of the white house into the rose garden to try to put a smiley face on the new unemployment numbers. The unemployment rate went up but the president looked at the pathetically anemic job creation figures and declared, we’re moving in the right direction.
He’s moving in the direction of losing his democrat house and his democrat senate, and perhaps even losing the white house itself in two years. That’s the real direction the country is moving.
Fifteen million Americans can’t find jobs, and he sees positive signs.
so the question is actually dead on, mr or ms obama voter… are you embarrassed yet?

I noted in the news headlines this morning that the boss of the BBC in Great Britain admitted that his staff of thousands were guilty of a quote massive lean to the left.

I had to laugh outloud. Seven years ago I said on my Fox News Channel television program that the BBC was guilty of a quote foaming at the mouth anti Americanism, and I added a few other bits along those lines.

Immediately, a British government agency threatened to remove Fox News from the airwaves in Great Britain, and a lengthy legal battle ensured, in which the British government demanded to know the basis for my charge. I forwarded them my book, Hating America, The New World Sport, pointing out the chapter on Brits and their godawful BBC.

The whole episode ended in me being officially censured by the British government. And today the BBC boss admitted I was right.

So, Great Britain, where’s my apology? Huh?

Narratives! The Obama Media is actually mad at President Obama for not calling President Bush a War Criminal during his Tuesday Night Oval Office “Iraq” speech.

I was stunned to read numbers from the Congressional Budget Office the other day that showed President Bush’s wars in Iraq and Afghanistan stretching back seven and a half years have cost a little less… less… than President Obama’s one-shot-did-absolutely-zip stimulus bill. Imagine! A war that supposed drained us dry cost less than what Obama ordered spent on economic stimulus in one day.

I haven’t found any credible economist who has given the Stimulus Bill any credit for anything other than keeping public employees on the payroll for one year. When the money ran out after a year, local governments began laying those public employees off.

Meanwhile, in a series of two wars that cost less in total, we have rid the world of Saddam Hussein and his evil sons, we have planted a sapling of democracy in a place in the world that’s never had it, and we may get the bonus of tamping down Afghanistan too.

So here we have an example of money well spent, and money not. Pop quiz: which is which?

No Thanks! While President Obama did praise President Bush for his, until now unknown, “support for the troops,” he did not thank him for his furtive support of “The Surge” nor did Mr. Obama make any admission he was wrong about “The Surge” during his Oval Office Iraq/Economy Speech last night. Gibson is disappointed.

Sacrifice! While President Obama did go out of his way to praise the sacrifice of the Men and Women who died for Iraq’s Freedom, the Obama Media is (again) re-litigating if the Iraq War was “worth it.” Gibson says it was.

Thanks! In his Second Oval Office Speech tonight, President Obama will note how he kept his word in “moving” Combat Troops out of Iraq. Will he finally acknowledge and thank President George W. Bush for winning a War, Democrats including Mr. Obama, didn’t have the resolve to win? Scott examines.

How many people did Glen Beck draw to the national mall on Saturday? Keith Olberman says only 87,000. That’s a joke. You only have to look at the pictures. Olbermann’s employers, NBC News, says it was 300,000. That’s closer, but it looks like a Beck Palin Woodstock to me, in other words upwards of half a million.

Obama can draw half a million. He got about that for his inauguration. Obviosly Beck and Palin can too. Who else can do that? Nobody in politics. Maybe Bono, or Sting, or Fitty, but once you leave the world of entertainment, the list gets thin.

So why not a Beck Palin or Palin Beck ticket? Beck says not a chance. Ok, good answer, now let’s get serious. Who else do the right wingers have who has that kind of power? Answer: nobody. All kinds of Republicans wish they could draw that many, but none actually can.

So why not go with the people who can attract a crowd?
