Bruce Springsteen Salutes President Obama & Staff with One Last Performance

Bruce Springsteen sang for the President one last time.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

In the days following the President’s final address to the nation, Bruce Springsteen grabbed his guitar and along with his wife, singer Patti Scialfa, returned to the White House for a special concert. The Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree performed a 15-song acoustic set for the President and his outgoing staff.

According to Backstreets.com, it was crafted to be highly thematic. Choices ranged from “Thunder Road” and “The Promised Land” to “My Father’s House”, “The Wish” and “Growing Up”.

The online magazine saying “it was a humble, quiet gesture from Bruce to say thanks to President Obama, the staff, and their families.”
