Garth Brooks: ‘May God Hold Trump’s Hand’ in the Decisions He Makes for this Country

Garth Brooks explains why he’s not playing at the inauguration.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Garth Brooks clarified his position concerning Donald Trump’s inauguration, saying he supports the President-elect, but that concert dates will keep him from the festivities on Friday.

Brooks says he was approached by his good buddy Steve Wynn, who asked the singer if he would perform at the inaugural festivities. Brooks said he let karma do its work, saying it all depends on whether they would be booked for more than one weekend in Cincinnati. Karma was not on the side of the President-elect as fans in Ohio won out, Garth posted on Facebook:

(Brooks) “Can’t thank the Obama’s enough for serving this country and may God hold Trump’s hand in the decision that he makes in this country’s name as well.”
