Los Angeles Rams Hire Youngest Coach in NFL History

One NFL team just hired the youngest head coach ever.

FOX’s Chris Hoenig reports:

The Los Angeles Rams announcing they’re hiring Sean McVay as their new head coach.

At 30-years-old, he is younger than two of his new players and becomes the youngest head coach in NFL history, passing Lane Kiffin, who coached a season and change for the Oakland Raiders just under a decade ago.

McVay was Washington’s offensive coordinator for the past three seasons. The Redskins finishing third in total offense and second in passing yards this year.

The Rams finished (4-12) in their first season back in L.A. Their new cross-town rivals, the Chargers, are one of two teams that still have a head coach vacancy. The San Francisco 49er’s are the other.
