Garth Brooks’ New Album to Feature Bob Seger & Lynyrd Skynyrd Covers

What’s going to be on Garth Brooks double album? Jennifer Nettles is back as host for the Country Christmas Special and there is some new Kip Moore music coming our way.

Garth Brooks keeps surprising fans with his latest release and his forthcoming 10-disc box set “Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection” is said to be no different, not only spanning the superstars career from the early hits to his globally known live performances.

But the collection, set for release Nov. 11 at Target and Nov. 25 on Amazon, will also includes a handful of unreleased and rare tracks, such as an all new all-star recording of his classic “Friends in Low Places” and cover songs like Bob Seger’s “Against the Wind” and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ”Sweet Home Alabama”.

Kip Moore is giving his fans a little early gift to get them through the winter months with a new EP called “Underground”. The album is due out on Friday. Moore isn’t expected to release new music until next spring.

Jennifer Nettles is back hosting the 2016 “CMA Country Christmas Special”, it will tape in front of a live audience on Nov. 8 in Nashville. The show airs on ABC on Nov. 28.
