Bruce Springsteen Tops His Own Longest Concert in the U.S.

There is a reason Bruce Springsteen’s nickname is the Boss as he sets another U.S. concert performance record.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Fans in New Jersey got to witness another amazing performance from their states son as Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band performed for almost four hours at MetLife Stadium:

(Springsteen) “James Dean in that Mercury ’49.”

The Springsteen fan website, Backstreets.com, says Thursday night’s performance broke the previous record. (Bruce played for three hours and 59 minutes). Springsteen also acknowledged it was the 41st anniversary of his “Born to Run” album…

The 33-set concert ended with a marriage proposal, there is one more MetLife concert scheduled for August 30. Bruce’s longest show was four hours and six minutes in Finland in 2012.
