Florida’s Senator Pushing for Tougher Gun Laws

Florida’s Democratic Senator is trying to make gun laws harder.

FOX’s Eben Brown has this week’s “Bullet Points”:

I’m Eben Brown.

In the week since the Orlando attack, we again hear the debate over the ease of purchasing firearms.

Bill Nelson is Florida’s Democratic Senator:

(Nelson) “I owe it to the people of Orlando to try and get something done.”

But there’s a Senate bill with support from both parties, spearheaded by Susan Collins of Maine. It would make it illegal for anyone on a no-fly list to buy guns:

(Collins) ”109,000 people, the vast majority of whom are foreign nationals.”

Who can’t buy guns in the U.S. anyway… The bill provides ability to appeal and get resolution in two weeks.

Gun sales are still said to be on the rise among the nation’s LGBT communities, in the wake of the Orlando shooting, the nightclub catered to LGBT customers, many who were victimized that night.

A new take of the Gadsden flag becomes a meme. Remember the snake telling you not to tread on it? This one’s on a rainbow with a hashtag of ‘shoot back.’

Those are your Bullet Points, I’m Eben Brown, FOX News.
