Florida Teen Attacked by a Shark

A Florida teenager is recovering after suffering what rescuers say was a shark bite at the beach Sunday.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

A 13-year-old boy had to be pulled from the water at Neptune Beach, Florida, near Jacksonville, after something bit his leg:

(Witness) ”And all you see if just blood dripping, a dripping out, for 50 feet.”

Police say it was a shark, maybe as long as six feet:

(Witness) “The father got on top of the son, and gave him a hug, and was talking to thim, while he said ‘i can’t feel my toes!’.”

And authorities in Newport Beach, California, continue their search for a shark that attacked a woman, forcing them to close the beach.
