Lightning Strikes Twice, Massachusetts Man Wins $1M on Scratch Off Ticket

A suburban Boston man won the lottery two times in a row.

    FOX’s Gary Baumgarten reports:

They say lightning never strikes twice. But it did for a Medford, Massachusetts man, but in a good way. Chi Chan won a $1,000 lottery prize. So he took his winning ticket to lottery headquarters to cash it in.

Chan then decided to plunk down some of those winnings on another lottery ticket. After all, why not?

Why not indeed, the Massachusetts State Lottery says Chan struck gold again, but not for a measly $1,000. Nope. Now he’s cashing in a ticket for a cool $1 million!
