William Shakespeare’s Skull is Missing From His Grave

Archaeologists have found an alarming discovery. William Shakespeare’s skull is missing from his grave.

    FOX’s Kitty Logan reports:

Scientists scanned the grave at Stratford upon Avon and realized the skull was missing. They also noticed evidence of repairs after the burial.

The ground penetrating radar found an odd disturbance at the head end of the grave. This may support a claim that Shakespeare’s skull was stolen back in the 18th century.

But the vicar at the church where the writer is buried says there isn’t enough evidence that the skull was taken. There are no plans to open the grave to investigate so the missing skull will remain a mystery.

Shakespeare died in 1616 at the age of 52.
