President Obama Returns to Old Stomping Grounds

President Obama returned to Springfield, Illinois Wednesday on the ninth anniversary of his announcement at the old State Capitol of his run for the White House.

    FOX’s Jeff Monosso reports:

President Obama visited the Feed Store restaurant in downtown Springfield where he used to eat as a state senator, before addressing the general assembly at the State Capitol where he called for unity in politics:

(President Obama) “This is what will be a focus of mine over the course of this year and beyond. What can we do all of us together to try and make our politics better?”

The speech to a divided Democrat controlled legislature and Republican governor that hasn’t passed a budget in months.
