Burger King Announces Hot Dogs Will be Newest Addition to Menu

Burger King announces a major change to its product lineup.

    FOX’s Lilian Woo reports:

‘The Home of the Whopper’ is expanding its menu to include hot dogs. Burger King says it plans to offer them nationally starting Feb. 23 and that their ability to flame grill meat makes the hot dogs a natural fit.

The launch at all 7,100 of its U.S. restaurants would mean Burger King offers hot dogs at more locations than any other chain.

The grilled dogs will come in classic, topped with ketchup, mustard, chopped onions, and relish for a $1.99, and chili cheese for 40 cents more.
