Ebola Kills 15-Year-Old Boy in Liberia

    Ebola virus disease is flaring up again in Liberia and is now blamed for the death of a teenage boy. More than a 100 people are under surveillance for infection.

    FOX News’ Eben Brown reports:

    Doctors in and around the Liberian capital of Monrovia say 15-year-old Nathan Gbotoe is dead, following a battle with Ebola virus infection.

    The boy, his father, and brother have been undergoing treatment for the disease at a hospital in the suburb of Paynesville. At least a 153 citizens are under medical watch as they may have been in contact with the family, and an additional 25 health care workers are being monitored.

    Liberia had declared itself Ebola free last September, following a devastating outbreak that began last year and killed nearly 5,000 in that country alone.
