‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Continues to Break Box Office Records

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ is already breaking box office records, four weeks before it hits theaters…

(Star Wars) “There are stories about what happened.”

This year has already been a box office bonanza for American films and ‘Star Wars’ is setting records to end this year making history.

Fandango’s Harry Medved…

(Medved) “On the very first day of advanced ticket sales Fandango sold more tickets for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ than we sold for the first ‘Hunger Games’ movie back in 2012, eight times as many as we sold for the first ‘Hunger Games.'”

The Wall Street Journal reporting the ‘Force Awakens’ has racked up more than $50-million in advance ticket sales in North America and is expected to break box office records come December 18. Those records set by ‘Jurassic World’ in June of this year with $208-million.
