“This is the first time that they are on the stage together since they have been lobbying… Do you have to clear the air at some point? Ben Carson

Are you wrong if you are a debate moderator if you ask Ben Carson about the personal attacks from Donald Trump?

“This is the first time that they are on the stage together since they have been lobbying, specifically, Donald Trump has been lobbying attacks at these candidates. Do you have to clear the air at some point? Maybe, especially if Trump jumps in and says something, you have to air that out. I do think their goal is to get to economy, jobs, national debt, trade, really go into specifics. I think you have to deal with some of the news of the day if there are developments.”

Donald Trump saying it’s the first time in history a candidate is trying to admit to bad behavior.

“He is right in the fact that this is a little surreal. That we are in the middle of American politics and a candidate is trying to say he went after his mother with a hammer and tried to stab somebody and was stopped by a belt buckle…. I think Ben Carson has effectively turned the tables and said the media has Ben Carson derangement syndrome.”
