Christie On Obama Touting His Foreign Policy: If He Thinks That’s A Successful Foreign Policy Then Maybe He Should Do All Of Us A Favor, Start Building His Library Now & Leave Office Early! PLUS:Christie On Eminent Domain Claim In Margate, NJ

2016 GOP presidential candidate, NJ Governor Chris Christie, called into Kilmeade & Friends from New Hampshire to discuss Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy dropping out of the Speaker race, his administration filing an eminent domain claim in Margate, New Jersey, why Republicans (such as Senators Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul & Ted Cruz) are part of the problem in Washington and why he thinks President Obama is delusional when he touts his foreign policy in the Mid-East.

Listen here:

Kevin McCarthy dropping out of the race to be the next Speaker of the House.
Are voters concerned when you meet them on the campaign trail over the chaos among republicans in congress?

“It doesn’t matter. I will tell you this, I have been in New Hampshire for the last three days, nobody cares. Nobody cares because what they’re angry about is this congress has been so ineffective. Why haven’t they passed tax reform and put it on the president’s desk? Why haven’t they passed a repeal and replacement of Obamacare and put it on the president’s desk? Why haven’t they passed a defunding of Planned Parenthood and put it on his desk? If the president is going to veto it, let him veto it but then at least the American public will know who the obstructionist is, the American public will know what a difference it will make to have a republican president. That’s what voters out in the country care about. “

Senator Lindsey Graham saying the chaos among republicans in the House of Representatives will hurt the chances of a Republican winning the White House in 2016. Does he have a point?

“He only has point if you’re running form Washington D.C. like he is. So he, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, they are all part of the problem. They are all part of the problem, so I could understand why he would be pretty upset about America hating Washington D.C. even more if you are a candidate from Washington D.C. If you are a candidate like me, from New Jersey, who has worked the state capitol, who has been held accountable, who has vetoed over 400 bills and stood up to a democratic legislature…. It doesn’t bother me because I know Washington is the problem and I am sorry that Lindsey is upset about it but the fact is, the folks in Washington are creating the problem instead of solving problems.”

Eminent Domain—New Jersey offered the town of Margate $29,000 for nine beachfront easements but the town doesn’t want to sell and Christie administration has now filed an eminent domain claim.

“It’s the town that doesn’t want to sell. It’s town owned property. It’s crazy Brian, anybody who went through Hurricane Sandy three years ago understand that we need to build dunes to protect the homeowners, their property and their lives and these folks don’t want to sell because they want to protect their view. It’s outrageous. I didn’t want to do eminent domain, we made them an offer, we tried to get them to voluntarily to turn it over to us and by the way, we are not talking about taking the property away and keeping it, we are taking it just to build dunes on them. We are not going to put anything else on there, I am not going to put a bathroom or a hot dog stand on there, I am just building dunes on the beach, that’s all I am doing. I am sorry we have to resort to eminent domain but we are going to resort to it if I have to choose between the safety and the welfare of the people of New Jersey and the views of some other people, we are going to pick the safety and welfare of New Jersey.”

What about people like Rand Paul who are against eminent domain no matter what?

“It’s in the public interest and Rand Paul wouldn’t know anything about that because he wasn’t there after Sandy, as I was, he didn’t try to rebuild the state like I did and he is one of those guys who voted against Sandy aid, like Lindsey Graham, like Marco Rubio, like Ted Cruz, but when there are disasters in their states, they’re the first ones in line to get money from the federal government.”

President Obama on 60 Minutes touting his foreign policy in the Mid-East.

“The President is delusional. He’s delusional. He is calling what’s happening in Syria a success? That’s what he is saying. It’s a success that 250,000 people have been murdered at the hands of their own government? It’s a success that millions of people are running for their lives to other countries in the Middle East and in Europe? It’s a success? That’s leadership? This president is delusional. He is delusional. I mean, Syria is on fire, Iraq is on fire, Egypt is under martial law, Yemen is on fire, Lebanon is on fire with Hezbollah and Hamas shooting rockets into Israel and he has put Iran on the path to nuclear weapons. If he thinks that’s a successful foreign policy then maybe he should do all of us a favor, start building his library now & leave office early!”
