LAPD Lethal Shooting Of Man On Skid Row Under Investigation

The deadly shooting of a black man at the hands of Los Angeles police on the city’s Skid Row is under investigation.

FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers has more. 

The video has been all over social media. The three officers were on a robbery call where the man was the prime suspect, and when they approached him for questioning, he resisted arrest.

They attempted to taser the man, then he tried to reach for one of the officers’ guns…

LAPD Commander Andrew Smith says they’re carefully looking into the case.

(Smith) “We are committed to doing a thorough investigation in this, in all cases like this… But again, no officer who goes to work and wants to get involved in something like this.”

The Facebook video of the incident has already been viewed more than four million times.
