Ambassador Ross: We Are Not Close to An Agreement With Iran Because They Want It On Their Own Terms

Former Ambassador Dennis Ross talked about the growing split between the President and Congress over the nuclear talks with Iran. Ambassador Ross explained that Iran does will not accept an agreement unless it is on their own terms. He also explained that the only time Iran adjusts their behavior is when they think the price is too high. On the issue of arming the Iraqis and the Kurds against ISIS the ambassador believes that we have to find a way to back the fighters so they can roll back ISIS’ gains. He also believes that we have to show ISIS fighters surrendering to prove to people that they are not on a divine mission.
