A second health care worker is sick with Ebola, and a prominent nurses union is pleading for help from the government.

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports:

National Nurses United says there’s no official Ebola protocol in place and nurses do not have the proper gear to safely treat patients. Spokeswoman and intensive care nurse Karen Higgins says health care workers need Ebola training and full Hazmat gear.

(Higgins) ”We need to provide what makes the healthcare worker feel safe going in that room. And to do less than that is disgraceful in this country.”

Higgins is calling on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to fully equip health care workers on the front lines of the fight against Ebola.
