The fight against ISIS may play a crucial role in the upcoming mid-term elections.

FOX News Radio’s Jill Nado reports:

How lawmakers lean for, or against escalating the battle against ISIS may make all the difference for politicians come November.

Brad Blakeman, a former aide to President George W. Bush tells FOX News, it’s a wildcard…

(Blakeman) ”As we’ve seen the beheading of two Americans, that’s what really got Americans fired up against the people who seek to do us harm. So, anything can happen between now and election day.”

Democratic Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia says every candidate is going to have to be upfront about ISIS.

(Kaine) ”Nobody running for office is going to be able to hide. Their electorate is going to ask them between now and elections, so, what are you going to do about ISIL?”

Kaine’s pushing for President Obama to get congressional authorization to go to war with ISIS.
