Kacey Musgraves announces her first ever headlining tour called "Same Tour Different Trailer". Taylor Swift announces her partnership with Yahoo for a worldwide live streaming event, and Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill are just a few of the stars joining Michael W. Smith on a Christmas album.
FOX News Radio Entertainment Correspondent, Michelle Pollino has the scoop on the Country music stars making headlines this week:
I'm Michelle Pollino.
She's toured with Willie Nelson and Lady Antebellum, but now Kacey Musgraves is headlining her first tour; September 25th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 13-city tour has stops in Chicago, Dallas, and Houston.
After hinting around for weeks about something in the works Taylor Swift delivered. Not another album, but a partnership with Yahoo for a live streaming event Monday, August 18th at 5 P.M. Eastern. Taylor began leaking clues earlier this month, of her iPhone at 5 P.M, the Yahoo logo, and a short video of her hitting an elevator button for the 18th floor. Now that all the clues are revealed, what could the event bring? Perhaps an new tour? An album maybe?
And, I know its a little early to be thinking about Christmas, but when Michael W. Smith announces a holiday album with guests like Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, and Vince Gill, we just have to give it a shout out. Besides it's set for release September 30th.
