Cleaning up what old man winter left behind on our roads — lots and lots of pothole.

FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper with our weekly look at things with wheels in “FOX Wheels“:

It’s FOX Wheels.

President Obama says across the country there are…

(President Obama) “Potholes that are the size of canyons.”

Some drivers use four letter words…

(Driver) “It’s just so bad for the car. I literally scream like ****!”

Chicago’s Mayor says some 350,000 holes have been filled.

(Mayor Rahm Emanuel) “Winter was for the record books. Spring and Summer is also for the record books.”

It will be a multi-million dollar paving season.

South Bend, Indiana put truck weight limits on some county roads.

Ford Boss Mark Fields says…

(Fields) “When the weather is really bad out and there’s lots of potholes in the streets people don’t like to go out and buy cars.”

Spokesman Sam Locricchio tells me the Lincoln MKZ has a pothole defense mechanism, sensors that detect your car making a quick dip.

(Locricchio) “It’s able to say, ‘Hey something’s wrong here’ — pulling the tire up as quickly as possible.”

Having fun, a Detroit T-shirt company took the “Pure Michigan” ad campaign slogan and slapped it on a shirt as “Pure Potholes.”

For a price, a Chicago man will let you name a hole and give you a fragment of it and a certificate.
