By Mary C. Rydzeski
BRIAN’S QUOTE OF THE DAY
Brian on Glenn Greenwald: “This whole time I just wonder: Is Glenn Greenwald reporting a story, or is he part of a story? Is he coaching Edward Snowden, or is he just reporting what Snowden’s released?”
COL. ALLEN WEST was talked to Brian about the thoughtless killing of the 23 year-old Australian man, Chris Lane. Col. West said the murder was unconscionable and we have to look at the black community. When Brian asked Col. West about Sharpton and Jackson, he said they would get a ton of credibility if they spoke out and is questioning why Obama isn’t chiming in, saying, “Chris Lane could have been his son.”
FOX News’ Chief Washington Correspondent, JAMES ROSEN, talked to Brian about Glenn Greenwald’s partner getting questioned for nine hours. Rosen said that when you are reporting on topics such as Edward Snowden, it is natural for the authorities to want to know more about you. He also went on to reveal that he heard Greenwald has signed a book deal.
GOV. SCOTT WALKER (R-WI) talked to Brian about the piece Politico published about Walker’s Stealth 2016 program. Politico’s John Harris exclaimed that Walker clearly has his eyes set on 2016, and that the Republican Governor is not going to moderate his opinions in any way. Walker responded and said he is currently focused on setting standards in Wisconsin and that it is too early to think about 2016.
JASON SILVA, host of the National Geographic Channel’s Brain Games, talked to Brian about the EMMY NOMINATION he recently received for his hit TV show! Silva explained the premise of the show to Brian and said that it creates a “crack in your perception of reality as you watch.” Silva also revealed to Brian that ironically enough, he never really liked school too much when he was young!
MELISSA FRANCIS, host of the FOX Business Network show Money with Melissa Francis, talked to Brian about all the latest news and her theory on Brian’s metro-sexual tendencies. Brian revealed that he would rather buy coffee at a street cart or a Starbucks than drink any of the complimentary coffee at FOX because he finds it disgusting. “You’re very metro,” Melissa replied, “Are you a girl underneath it all?”
