He spent 12 years as the Mayor of Las Vegas — leaving the job when his wife was elected. Goodman recounts his most famous adventures in the book “Being Oscar: From Mob Lawyer to Mayor — Only in America”. Rich Johnson talked with Goodman as the two sipped cocktails in the downtown Las Vegas bar named in honor of Goodman.
