Audio clip:
Cardinals will begin their conclave on Tuesday, the Vatican saying it will start after morning Mass. One-hundred fifteen cardinals will take part in the vote, with 77 votes needed to pick a Pope.
The cardinals have spent the week holding preliminary meetings to discuss what they’re looking for in the next Pontiff. They’ve decided they’re now ready to head to the Sistine Chapel.
