Indiana House Approves Drug Testing For Welfare Recpients

And if you test positive, you pay out of your welfare check. Never mind that this has already been declared unconstitutional. If you fail the test, you have to participate in a drug treatment program in order to keep getting assistance.

The Republican-dominated House last week rejected efforts by Democrats to have legislators face the same testing.

How's come what's good for the goose ISN'T good for the gander? Hypocrisy at its finest..like some of these poor people don't have enough to worry about..now they want to assault their character and for some that's about all they have left..

The point of this is that if you have money to squander on drugs you obviously don't need public assistance. There are several other issues that are more unconstitutional being pushed nation wide that are actually mentioned in the constitution. I don't recall any amendments stating drug users are to be taken care of by the tax payers. I take a drug test to earn my check. Welfare users should take one to be given theirs.
