Detroit Named America’s Most Miserable City: Forbes
No one wants to be number one in this survey… Forbes coming out with the most miserable cities in America.

Yes … Detroit has its problems. Including a financial crisis that has the state stepping in.
(Dillon) “This is a problem we see throughout cities throughout the country. Detroit’s not alone here.”
But Michigan Treasurer Andy Dillon wasn’t considering rises in crime and unemployment and a drop in population. All these factors helped make Detroit the most miserable city in America in an annual ranking by Forbes. Forbes also weighs things like cost of living, weather and commute times.
It ranks Flint, Michigan second worst, Rockford, Illinois third, Chicago fourth, and Modesto, California fifth.
