VIRAL VIDEOS: Week of January 11th
Audio clip:
Here’s what’s going viral now on Facebook.
“David Bowie: ‘Where Are We Now?’”
Released to coincide with this 66th birthday, it’s David Bowie’s first new song in over a decade off his upcoming album, The Next Day.
The artsy music video shows Bowie singing reflectively about his Berlin period while his face is imposed on the body of a Siamese twin stuffed animal. The album comes out this March.
Then, there’s this:
“Family Guy – Breaking Bad and The Wire.”
FOX’s “Family Guy” spoofs the infamously passionate fans of AMC’s “Breaking Bad” and HBO’s “The Wire” in this clip that shows Peter Griffin being hypnotized by his TV and forced to become a follower of the two programs.
And, Facebook users are hitting the “like” button on:
“Super Mario Bros Meets Metal.”
Musician Eric Calderone performs a head-banging cover of the Super Mario Brothers video game theme song on his electric guitar… giving the iconic tune a riff filled, heavy metal twist.
