OUTED! Paper Publishes Addresses Of Region’s Gun Owners

This weekend, The Journal News published a map that displayed the addresses of all the pistol permit holders in New York’s Westchester and Rockland counties.

While the publishing the information was “legal”… did it go too far? And will revealing this information jeopardize the safety of gun holders or their neighbors?

    Go Ahead, I have a Concealed Handgun License, a Glock 17. Let every criminal know what I have, so they also know, if you try to rob me, I will kill you. It used to be required that every gun owner was registered so that if there was an invasion, a militia could be rounded up real quick. Don't we need a citizens army?

    While what the paper did may be legal, those gun owners also legally own their guns. What happened to the gun owners' right to privacy?

    ….American Community Survey…..
    Is it legal for them to make threats , with jail time and fines, if the survey is not filled out….

    I hope the paper is prepared for the law suits of the gun owners who get their guns or property stolen as a result of the publishing of this information.
