A wonderful interview! I think it's important to understand the distinction Stephanie made between porn, which is real people vs. erotic romance which is fiction. And I have enjoyed some of Stephanie's stories, including Panties Optional.

Excellent interview. Stephanie clarifies the differences between erotica and porn, despite the interviewer's determination to classify it all as porn..

I believe that it is all up to each of us to sort out for ourselves. What I consider porn is definitely different than what my sister does. I believe there is porn and there are other things out there that others may consider porn but I do not.

I never gave it a lot of thought, but I'm glad Stephanie makes it work. Every job in some way or another has moments when it conflicts with religion–how bankers and people who work in finance can go to work and church in the same week amazes me. Great interview. I can't wait to read her books.

Porn disguised as erotica seems to have just come out of the closet. It's been around a long time. The author is obviously fascinated by it. But I believe there is more of a defining line between the two. I enjoyed this interview and shared it on my facebook page. I wish the author well and hope she can continue to teach Sunday School without repercussion. I thinks she's been very lucky to do that. Good for her.

Thanks, Pamela! More than good for me, good for the people of my church who are practical, kind, and work to make a welcoming, safe church family for our community.

I've been reading fiction in all forms for as long as I can remember. The differences in genre doesn't matter much. Some faiths will call any fiction an afront to God and religion. A world without reading material…sounds like a tough place. Good for you, Stephanie. Keep writing, keep reading, and keep loving.

Now you have me wondering about that menage story. Gotta go find it. Poppy's Passions–I am excited to decide if it is porn or erotica.

Romance and/or erotica isn't my go to read, but how anyone could argue with the fictionality of it, regardless of your religious affinity, is rather beyond me. Ms. Beck does a great job reiterating that point. I would be interested to hear more from Ms. Beck in the future.
