Tale of the Tapes: New Obama Tape Surfaces [VIDEO]

Mitt Romney is switching from defense over his secretly-recorded fundraiser comments to offense, going after President Obama’s comments in a newly-released tape recorded more than a decade ago.

FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from Washington:

He was then-Illinois State Senator Barack Obama, but the Romney campaign highlighting what the President then-told an audience at Loyola University.

(Obama) “I actually believe in redistribution, at least at a certain level, to make sure everybody’s got a shot.”

The Obama campaign defends the 1998 remark as an argument for a more efficient, effective government.  Romney countering:

(Romney) “I believe instead the role of government is to help those who need help.”

Romney writing, in an op-ed today, his economic plan will lift people out of poverty.

      How about reality! The core base of Obama voters will not change who they vote for no matter what! Blacks are voting for him in large numbers (if whites had percentage like theirs they'd be racist) with no regard to what his policies are. Obama doesn't go after Romney's core supporters and he DOESN"T care about all the people like he wants Lettermen listeners to believe. He wants to be America's first dictator and make all his own rules. Oh, by the way, why were both Obama's disbarred?

      Why is it allright for Democrats to dig up all sorts of trivial matters on Romney and it is wrong for Republicans to go after the president ? What's good for the goose is better for the gander.

Just because a man blows sunshiine up your skirts, does't mean he's going to save the world of all the problems.       So you are a fan of our government taking what you have earned (if you work) and giving to someone who didn't earn it? My parents taught me that if I want to make a better situation for myself, then get my butt out there and work hard for it. I served this country in the USMC, put myself through school, and I work hard every day. Did yours teach you that the way to get ahead is to sit on your behind and put your hand out and let the government fix your problems? We are only entitled to an opportunity to get off our ass and go make our own way.

    THIS IS NOT NEWS…….the word news start with the letters NEW. This has been vetted in 2008 already. Please come with something new/news…..this appears more pathetic and desperate.
