Today on Kilmeade and Friends…8/21/12 [VIDEO]

Bending the Truth ~ During his surprise press conference yesterday, President Obama insisted that nobody ever accused Gov. Romney of being a felon.  Really?!  Apparently the President didn’t hear what Stephanie Cutter said back in July.  To weigh in, Brian will be joined by General Jack Keane, Richard Miniter, author of “Leading From Behind”, and FOX’s Gretchen Carlson and Jennifer Griffin!  Plus, weight loss coach Charles D’Angelo will tell Brian how he got Sen. McCaskill in shape for her upcoming reelection battle!

    Brian,
I enjoyed your program today but had to respond when I heard your comment (criticism) of 'warm' English beer. You are not actually correct that the beer is served warm. I lived in Yorkshire for many years and recall that the beer is actually served at the temperature it is stored in – which are cool kegs that are maintained at around 55 degrees fahrenheit or cooler. Room temperature in England is generally much cooler than in the USA. There are basically two types of beer served in England. The main English beer is called 'bitter' which is non-carbonated. Because it is not ice cold you can taste the beer better. It allows one to consume it without feeling bloated. It comes in strong to mild versions. The ales are stronger yet. The other main version is lager which is brewed the German way and the one we are most familiar with.
    Have a nice day,
    Henry Winters

Rush's 1st half hour made my case that you called stupid. Democrats circle wagons for their crooks and gaffmasters, while republicans circle the firing squads when good people make honest mistakes. As I said, in this case the distraction is too damaging in a critical election season, but the tendency of republicans to be spineless is disturbing.

Brian, on your show today Steve and the other guest repeatedly quoted a bogus statistic of 30,000 pregnancies a year resulting from rape. If you google "how many rapes result in pregnancies" you will see the #1 result and a statistical analysis show it is between 200-500 a year. That is a DRASTIC difference from 30,000. This is not in support of Akin, he should drop out for a lack of common sense and his poor decision making ability. Once a fake statistic is cited in the media it is a freight train when repeated over and over. It is just like the bogus 46 million without healthcare in America. It is repeated so often it is believed by most. It is easy to refute with very minimal research. I called the show today to say this and Steve said thanks for the call and did not discuss it at all after our brief conversation. I was disappointed he didn't say – wow, really, I will look it up now – yikes, we were way off.

Even though I did not vote for Todd Akin in the primary, I will vote for him in the general elction, and I think anyone that wants to get rid of McCaskill will do the same.
