    Why not? It shouldn't be my responsibility to pay for someone else's kid.

    Should kids be punished for the poverty of their parents? In the current economy most schools have cut their scholarships a great deal. In the greatest country on earth shouldn't a kid born into poverty who studies hard be offered the same opportunities as a wealthier kid was born into?
