In addition, so much of our food is "low fat, reduced fat". Contrary to what people think this is not good. The body needs fat as long as it is good fats like olive oil, coconut oil, avocados and if you can get it, raw butter, raw milk.

I agree with bad diet, although obesity is closely related to a sedentary lifestyle. It must be a mix of both, diets high in saturated fat and lots of biscuits. Not having much activity or (calorie expenditure) will always lead to obesity when consuming these unhealthy foods.

People are lazy and fast food is to easy! Instead of raising taxes on things people cant already afford, tax unhealthy living maybe that would make poeple think about what goes in their bodies.

Lots of the fats in our diet come from plant sources, however this may be part of the problem: humans are much better suited to digesting animal fats. For an interesting read, look up native Alaskan diets.

Just dont eat, trans fatty acids do not make you any fatter, they may make you unhealthy but not any fatter then any other fat, people need to stop eating burgers, pop and dessert!!!! Kids eat like their parents, parents are fat kids are fat, only solution is to teach people what and why to eat, stop watching dr. Oz and educate yourself
