A Megabus carrying 81 people from Chicago to Kansas City has crashed on I-55, a little more than 50 miles north of St. Louis. The entire highway was shut down. Mike Link is with the Illinois State Police…
(Link) “For unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway and struck a concrete pillar. I know we have like 20 ambulances and a couple of helicopters.”
There are reports of 25 injuries, some of them critical. Another spokesperson for the police says it appears the bus may have blown a tire.
