Another Needle Found In Airplane Food

A passenger aboard an Air Canada flight found what appears to be a sewing needle in a in-flight sandwich.

FOX News Radio’s Courtney Kealy reports:

The needle in a sandwich was served on board a flight from Victoria, British Columbia to Toronto.

A spokesman for Air Canada saying late Tuesday that the airline is “working closely with our caterers to ensure heightened security measures have been put in place”.

A police investigation is underway and Air Canada has not had any other reports of similar incidents.

But Dutch police are still investigating how needles got into six sandwiches on Delta Airline flights from Amsterdam to Minneapolis, Seattle and Atlanta last month. Passengers found four of the needles.
