Nanny State Update: Bloomberg’s “War On Baby Formula”(!?)
Mike Bloomberg, the mayor who brought us smoke free bars, the trans fat ban and the crackdown on cola, is now telling mothers how they should be feeding their newborns. The New York City Mayor is asking hospitals to hide the baby formula so that new moms will be encouraged to breastfeed. While most will agree with the benefits of breastfeeding, should the government be butting in at all? How far should the government go to promote things that they deem beneficial?

I live in former Congressman Bart Stupak.s district. I thought Obama made
a deal with him that in order for him to vote for Obamacare there would not be
taxpayer funded abortions, etc. covered ubder Obamacare? I tried to tell Mr. Stupak at the time that he was making a deal with the devil…….Obama would never honor his pledge.

Tom, I am an older person than most of your callers, but I have some very strong thoughts about your talk today. I believe there is nothing so revolting as a bigote. that goes for anything. I do not believe that I would ever go for being gay, or purple, but everyone has a right to there personal choices, they will be the one's to work it out with your God. If it was my child, I would profess my love, and ask them to have the wedding in a park, or hall somewhere, where those who didn't agree with there choices could still go . thank you for your program, it is something I liston to daily.
