NY Students Kicked Out For Trashing 9/11 Memorial [VIDEO]
A group of students are in a heap of trouble after allegedly trashing the September 11th memorial during a field trip to Ground Zero.
Fox News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports from New York:
Audio clip:
The Department of Education is investigating after students from Brooklyn, while on a recent field trip, were allegedly caught on video surveillance throwing trash into the September 11th reflecting pools that mark the footprints of the Twin Towers. And reaction from tourists is not mixed.
(Tourists) “My kids would never have done that.” ”Can’t believe that people would do that, especially in America.” ”We don’t desecrate a memorial.” ”I don’t even know what to say. I don’t have the words.”
The World Trade Center Commission says the culprits were later kicked out and though the damage is done, the principal of the student’s Brooklyn school has issued a letter of apology to the 9/11 Memorial Museum.
