In a late press conference on Tuesday, Auburn Police announced that a suspect accused of killling three people over the weekend turned himself in.

The three day manhunt in Alabama is over with police announcing the arrest of Desmonte Leonard who turned himself in to police Tuesday. He is accused of killing three young men at a party over the weekend, two of them were former Auburn college football players and one of the three wounded was a current player.
(Chizik) "The whole Auburn community, the whole Auburn family is devasated in the passing of three young men. It's just hard to put into words the difficulty that a lot of people are facing right now."
Auburn football head coach Gene Chizik says the community is still in mourning.

Editor's Note: Two other men have been arrested in connection with the case. One on charges of hindering prosecution and another for allegedly providing false information to police. Desmonte Leonard is expected to be held without bond.
