“Occupy” Day of Action Jams Streets, Arrests Made [VIDEO]

On the day marking two months since the birth of the Occupy Wall Street protests at Zuccotti Park, the protesters are taking part in a Day of Action.  Demonstrators took to the streets of  New York City to spread their message resulting in hundreds of arrests and some injuries to both the protesters and the NYPD.

Protests continued in other parts of the country, as well.  In San Francisco, the Occupy movement stormed a Bank of America branch.  When they refused to leave, the arrests began.

Police cracked down on demonstrations in Columbia, South Carolina.  More than 20 rain-soaked protesters were arrested after refusing to leave the ground of the South Carolina Statehouse.

    Isn't it a shame that, this kind of protesting is getting in the way of the lives of working citizens (some, no doubt, a part of 99%, at least in income), bank tellers, security guards, others making their way to other businesses, cab drivers, subway and bus riders/drivers? Not to mention the overtime for police patrol, and they should be protecting the "public" and it's private citizens. But that's how the advocates of "collectivism", thinks. We, as individuals don't matter, it's all for the "greater good"…..
