Take a look at Jon Huntsman. HE is the man to lead the GOP against Obama. He is intelligent, very well informed, and conservative. Hopefully you and all Americans will discover him SOON!!!

Was Herman Cain married back when these harassment charges were made? If he was, inviting women to his room was inappropriate. If he wasn't, why didn't they just say, no thanks.

    • Jason

      November 3, 2011 at 1:17 pm

Yes, Cain has been married for what I beleive to be 42 years.

    • Betsy Ross

      November 3, 2011 at 4:42 pm

UH… CHARGES ARE NOT TRUE, smear of a fine, decent man…but never mind…it has only made us raise more money for him. HE has been married to the SAME woman for 44+ years.. This was considered a "cool way to make money" by some women then …at the height of PC observation…Even today, most executives have to make sure they are cautious to the max.

      November 3, 2011 at 8:59 pm

Well it is inappropriate in the work environment, especially between boss and subordinate. If he wanted to do that better to do it away from work.

    • Simon

      November 3, 2011 at 9:25 pm

Yes he was married at the time.

Ron Paul? Are you people serious. As much as you may want that that is far from reality. I would prefer cain yet I don't see that happening either. We as a perty need to come together. I like Bauchman as well yet she has no shot so why would I vote for her. Ultimately we need to get the GOP into the White House. Sure, vote your conscience but be realistic about who truely has a shot of beating Obama.

    • Andie

      November 7, 2011 at 4:03 pm

Yes, we're serious. And to say that it is far from reality is pretty unreasonable, seeing as how he has won 15 straw polls, has bipartisan support, and has the largest, most active grassroots followings ever seen. Don't downplay this guy simply because he's not your pick…Clearly, he is the choice of many. Many of Dr. Paul's followers are not GOP, so I wouldn't expect them to "come together," with GOPer's.
By the by, I am not being attacking at ALL, so I hope it doesn't come across that way. Just speaking for the masses is all. :)

Why do we "need" to get a GOP into the White House? I thought we needed a real person that represents the American people's wishes and not international corporate America's wishes. Other than Ron Paul they are all more of the status quo. George Bush Barrick Obama = no difference.

I love NEWT! I believe that he is the most intelligent Presidential candidate among the others. Think more people need to look at him. This man is the 1 we need!

    • Mike

      November 7, 2011 at 6:45 pm

Newt? Really? While Cain just seems to have attempted adultery (multiple times), Newt actually committed adultery and got divorced (multiple times). Are family values are no longer conservative values? Is integrity no longer a conservative value? My party really is going to hell; RINOs and conservacrites… The longer I see suppoesed conservatives supporting these clowns, the more I consider Ron Paul. He polls well against Obama, he has a plan to balance the budget, he has a public record of doing what he says he will do, and he has been faithfully married to his childhood sweetheart for 50 years. Yup, after this trainwreck of Cain. I'm going with Paul

    • Warner Seargeant

      November 8, 2011 at 9:11 pm

Newt thinks intelligently and is quick on his feet. However, no candidate on the GOP side has dealt more ably and effectively than has David Petraeus with his incredible leadership and integrity during our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'd vote for him in a New York minute!

A caller today (11/3) thought R. Paul to be more informed & intelligent than any of the other candidates has evidently not read much about Newt Gingrich. I have followed Newt for many years-back to when he televised his teaching classes in Ga. His knowledge of US and world history is outstanding. His approach to problem solving is unique and usually makes good sense. Especially when you are willing to think outside the box. I am tired of hearing "he has too much garbage"–his is no worst than any others and perhaps not as bad.

I am on the Cain train and I am smart.

    • Nick Riley

      November 4, 2011 at 3:09 pm

you might think you're smart, but you sure are not humble.

A regressive sales tax on the poor in this economy is never going to happen. There are way more poor people than there are rich people and their vote counts as much as anyone else. Without the 9-9-9 plan you have no candidate.

Herman Cain has no voting record to stand on, just a bunch of contradicting positive statements about an economy that was imploding.

In the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses shall every word be established. 3 women now coming forward with testimony against Cain.

I'll be voting for the humble, strict constitutionalist who has actually told the truth about the sovereign debt crisis and has a stellar voting record.

If you want your freedom back vote for the one that wants to get it back for All of Americans. And not someone who just wants to have the power of the presidency. We All want someone that is president for the people not for their selves. That is Ron Paul. Not just a Ronald Reagan but a George Washington. He does it for you and me.

    November 3, 2011 at 5:08 pm

My favorite candidate is Ron Paul. It's interesting to look back at everything he said in 2008 and where we are now in this economy. I'm also tired of the continual interventionism and foreign aid. Protecting borders and rebuilding infrastructure across the globe while neglecting our own.

Maybe we need to do more nation building right here.

The verdict on his character is still out……These accusations against Cain are just that accusations. They detract from the issues. The issues are that Cain is a fed insider who lied about auditing it and is against transparency, he is a former lobbyist, is pro tarp, pro war mongering, pro patriot act, anti 2nd ammendment, has flipped on issues on abortion, the palestinian conflict, flipped on hostage situations, flipped on Iran, flipped on 999, he has no idea about many issues and admits it….He doesn't know China has nukes……and dances around questions just like a politician. He is not qualified to president. We tried an unknown hack who knew nothing before and it got us Obama.

It won't matter if Ron Paul wins this poll. If he does Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Greta and the others who control Faux News will belittle RP. It always amazes me when loud mouth O'Reilly says Ron Paul supporters always vote for RP in the polls. Duh.. as if Mitt Romney supporters don't vote for Mitt in the polls, etc., etc.!!!

  20. Brian

    November 3, 2011 at 8:24 pm

You should post HOW MANY votes are being cast to put the poll in perspective….I'm curious if the total amount of votes are 100 or 100,000

Cain made a recent statement indicating support for military action in Iran. This will be catastrophic for the American people, and the American economy. End the wars, bring the troops home, no more wars based on lies for the benefit of XE, GE, Lockheed Martin, KBR, Haliburton, and the banks who finance the deficit spending by our unnaccountable congress.

Cain is the same ole, same ole! If you want something different then you have to do something different. How about we elect someone who will follow the Constitution instead of the Bilderburg Group? That would be Dr. Ron Paul!

  23. Patriot Awakening

Dont get me wrong Fox is better then CNN. Its refreshing to hear some right wing bias in a media world dominated by left wing propaganda. I just wonder why they bother taking polls. If Ron Paul wins they just ignore or immediately start to discredit there own polls…. I mean remember the poll after that one debate lol. Also they (Fox) seem to be in bed with CNN, MSNBC is probably video taping) I mean all I heard about before they caught Cain in a lye (not the actually news worthy one in the Bloomberg debate, was Romney vs.Perry…..PERRY WAS BEHIND RON PAUL!!!! They didn't even mention him. They make it a point to mention how they had him on whenever they do show Ron Paul but its usually when they're having EVERY candidate in succession. Other than that they just ignore him. I am a lifelong Republican I've NEVER voted Democrat except when I voted for Hillary to try and stop Obama in the Ohio primary. Rush Limbaughs idea. Next presidential election I'll be one of the few Americans who'll be able to say they voted against an Obama presidency 3 times. While I still know Ron Paul has a strong possibility of winning the Republican nomination. He won Ohio swing state poll with more votes then all other candidates combined and the runner up Cain didn't get half the votes he did very similar to the following South Carolina poll. No Republican has ever won the presidency without winning Ohio. But if people don't wake up I will not vote for any other candidate. His supports (there are A LOT) are saying thisas well. We will urge him to run as an independent, you see there is no difference between Romney and Obama to me. I think he would still have a good shot. He started the. Tea Party, Wikipedia it, and has support among the occupy crowd which if you bother to research try YouTube out will see his supporters there make sense. They're usually the ones that don't look like they may possibly have lice. If he won't run as a Libertarian they WANT him too. I will write him in. Does anyone know how to do that on the new computerized ballot machines? Vince Vaughn, Clint Eastwood, Barry Mantalo, Barry Goldwater Jr, Bill Maureen, Governor Jesse Ventura, Barry Mantalo are celebrities who support him. He has never voted to raise taxes, he voted against Obama care, against TARP, NAFTA, the patriot act, never has voted against the constitution, returns $100,000 to the treasury for overpayment, won't participate in the congressional pension program, would accept as presidential salary the average American salary under $40,000, has Never flip flopped, warned about the housing collapse, terrorist attacks, and more years and decades before their occurrence.

A snake is a snake is a snake and regardless of the times, Cain would be another Obama without ethics. Scary combination. We do not want to stay on a path of self destruct.

    Ron Paul 2012.

Don't throw away your vote on people who flip flop on issues and have little to no experience in representing a populace of people via the United States government.
In times of crises we need someone who is a true patriot and upholder of this great nation's constitution. CHECK and do the MINISCULE research to see the track record of ALL candidates.

Dr. Paul is the only one who has kept a consistent word and has a track record to prove his abilities to lead. Don't risk this great nation's future with those who's agendas include generalized statements and cliche appeals. Regardless of your political affiliation or race, you're all American's in my eyes.

Please, lets take pride in our nation's ability to be responsible and elect officials based on policy, reliability, and consistency. The future of this country is in WE THE PEOPLE's hands.

I am tired of voting for whoever the GOP spoon-feeds me. I have been doing that all my adult life. It ends NOW! I will vote for the best candidate, even if I have to write him in. No more 'lesser of 2 evils'.
There is a candidate out there that is not evil, and Dr Paul gets my vote, nomination or not.

I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:

"I Will Write In Ron Paul in 2012" http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/iwillwriteinro

I really think this is an important to send the GOP Republicans a message that we will NOT vote for the lesser of TWO EVILS. Period. I'd like to encourage you to add your signature, too. It's free and takes just a few seconds of your time.

    Thanks!

Ron Paul, defender of the Constitution. Why is it, that the other candidates seldom if ever mention the document for which their oath claims defense.

  34. Gannojo

    November 8, 2011 at 2:08 am

All other candidates are owned or will be owned by the lobbyist and corporations . Ron Paul is the only one who will make real change. He has stood solid and can not be bought. He will be a change that is needed. Not the change Obama has given us which is the same old thing. You want more of the same old thing vote for anyone other than Ron Paul. If you want to change our ways vote Ron Paul.

With all the apparent lack of enthusiasm how about a draft Christie movement, if no one candidate has a majority on the first ballot at the GOP Convention? I believe he can generate the excitement needed and picking Newt for VP would give him a running mate with lots of Washington experience and who could round out the ticket nicely. The draft Christie lets Gov. Christie run while giving him cover for leaving the NJ governorship before finishing his term. We need to generate a lot of enthusiasm for whatever ticket we put up, 'lukewarm' is not going to cut it and we must get rid of the current occupant of the White House and also regain the Senate to turn the country around NOW!
    Sorry this is so long!
