Alan, why do you take calls when you don't let the caller speak.? I suppose you can be downright RUDE when you have a radio show. You only used my call and time as an opportunity to express your own views and draw a broad conclusion about 2 words I said.

I called the show for the first and last time and you didn't allow me to finish 3 words. So here is what I was going to say.

1_ The global warming fad was accelerated by Al Gore who has no qualifications on the subject except for 1 class in law school. He declared "The discussion on global warming is over", before it ever started. Sounds like a lawyer to me. Nothing to do with politics. Why should I take scientific advice from a lawyer? He doesn't take law advice from an engineer.

You question my engineering abilities based on Al Gore which is hilarious.

    On Global Warming:

2_ The data presented has the earth warming .7 (7/10ths) degree in 100 years. They round it up to 1.0 degree which is a 30 % from the beginning. Pretty sloppy data management when it comes to something as important as the earth.

3_ There were peroids when the earth's temperature was warmer even when fossil fuels weren't being used. This is documented by world scientists but left out of the published data by the "Concerned Scientists"

4_ No one from "The Concerned Scientists" group will give me the grid coordinagtes for which the data was collected and the parameters used such as time of day. Should be pretty simple to answer, if it actually exists.

5_ An article I read last week on the icebergs melting and flooding the earth said the oceans would rise 20ft. Then it went on to admit most of the rise was due to a rise in temperature and not the icebergs melting.

Well everyone that had elementary school physical science should know that water EXPANDS when it freezes and CONTRACTS when ice thaws. Surely they didn't miss this basic law of nature in their calculations.

On Global Warming and General Rudeness:

6_ The "Scientists" that created the original data ADMITTED to fudging the data.

7_ Do you realize how many "Assumptions" you have to make to come up with an average temperature of the earth which is very large, constantly changing, and influenced greatly by things we have no control over?

So Alan, you are the rudest, most closed-minded person I talked to today, and obviously enjoy hearing yourself talk more than your callers.

It again proves the fact that you can't have a logical discussion with a liberal because their mouth won't allow it.
