FOX in the Fast Lane: Kurt Busch Wins at Sonoma

It’s a surprise winner in a heated race under the California sun.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Hoenig recaps the TOYOTA/Save Mart 350 in “FOX in the Fast Lane”…

The boys were having at it at Infineon, where Kurt Busch wins the TOYOTA/Save Mart 350.  The #22 dominated, leading a race-high 75 laps en route to his first career road course victory…

“It’s just really neat to bring home that ‘W,’ and most of all, have that insurance package now.  We have that win heading towards the Chase.”

Jeff Gordon finished 2nd, followed by Carl Edwards and Clint Bowyer.

The race featured several on-track flare-ups, most notably between Brian Vickers and Tony Stewart.  Vickers went spinning thanks to Stewart after 38 laps.  Fifty laps later, Vickers got revenge, sending Stewart into and on top of the tires on Turn 11, ending his day.  Stewart says the move was definitely payback…

“I probably had it comin’ ’cause I dumped him earlier.  But I dumped him ’cause he was blocking, so…  If anybody wants to block all year, that’s what I’m gonna keep doin’.”

Friday on foxnewsradio.com, Marghiee “Trackside” Teshineh previews the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona.
