Tom has your daily “Weiner-Gate” update! Then, after yesterday’s dismal economic data, poor job numbers are causing even more worry on Wall Street. Are we in the middle of a double-dip recession? Tom takes a look at what’s really going on.
Privatize Parks?
Officials in the San Francisco Bay area want non-profits to help keep open state parks slated for closure. Tom thinks that’s a good start, but they should allow private companies to manage the parks. In fact, Tom says cities, states and the federal government should start privatizing a lot of their services!
Deadly Budget Cuts?
California firefighters and police recently stood by and watched a 52-year-old man drown in the San Francisco Bay. The emergency workers blame their lack of action on budget cuts and department policy. What’s wrong with our society when even first responders don’t react in cases of life and death?

Tom,
The new evidence you bring up creates two very serious situation for Congressman Weiner, if true.
1) The FBI or Congressional security office must determine if any of this activity was conducted on a Government computer.
If so,
Congressman Weiner is in violation of the Computer Security Act for Government employees and in violation of their signed Computer Use Statement (i.e., Acceptable Use Statement), which every employee must sign before utilizing a Government computer system.
2) If the security office of FBI determine these activities have been on going while holding a security clearance, he is in violation of his Security Clearance requirements granted by DSS east coast, because he puts himself into a compromising situation which could violate National Security information or sources.
If either one or both of these two conditions are true, Congressman Weiner can be fined up to $250,000 or be fired or both.
