TOM’S INBOX 3-2-11

What surprises me about this ruling is it seems to be selective in judging freedom of speech. Why is talking or protesting some groups considered “Hate Speech” and illegal, yet this, which is obviously hurtful, is OK?

I listen to your show often at work, are you aware of the Patriot Guard, we go to funerals of our brothers and sisters when asked by the family to protect them from nut jobs like Westboro. Actually Westboro was how and why our group got started.Lars

This does not even sound like a church. I think it is a bunch of leftists trying to make Christians look like cruel, heartless people.
Love your show, Tom.

The f word is not covered under first ammendment, the miller rule says offensive speech is not covered. Police should have taken him away. Scary this guy is inflluencing kids!

    Tom,
My daughter lives in Topeka Kansas not far from the compound where these Westboro Baptist loons live. You should see the pure hate that they have around the place – just doesn't make sense in the world we live that someone could be that full of hate. They are a joke in Topeka and the only way they get news is nationally and they love the attention.

    Tom:
On S/S my suggestion to help fund the program.
The latests information I could find indicated there were 52 million recipents of S/S benefits.
My suggestion is, each recipent give up $1.00/month and this money would be put back into the fund with absolutely no way it could be touched by anyone in or out of Washington.
This shared sacrifice is the fair way to help the fund without putting a hurt on anyone. Those that get the benefit share in keeping it solvent for a while longer.
In addition there needs to be a major overhaul
to make the fund solvent for the future of my children & grandchildren.

The state of the nation after June 30 was left without comment. Please continue this topic relating to the Treasury printing cash and purchasing Bonds. Collapse? Extension of present policies? Wild inflation? Wholesale closure of federal agencies? What is your best prediction? What are the predictions from the 10 most knowledgeable (your choice) persons of foresight?
