Sony Music has been polishing up the classic jazz-fusion CTI label catalogue under the banner CTI Masterworks, digging up the original 2-track master tapes of many Creed Taylor-curated/Rudy Van Gelder-engineered classics for the first time in decades.  This week sees the following remasters arrive on the scene: George Benson‘s White Rabbit, Ron Carter‘s All Blues, Deodato‘s Prelude, Paul Desmond‘s Pure Desmond, Jim Hall‘s Concierto, and Milt Jackson‘s Sunflower.  All are early-to-mid ’70s jazz gold!
