New Assignments for Two Fox News Radio Reporters

Fox News Radio today announces new assignments and titles for two veteran correspondents. Effective Monday, April 5, 2010, Mike Majchrowitz becomes White House Correspondent for Fox News Radio. And on the same day, Rich Johnson becomes Fox News Radio’s new Senior National Correspondent.

Mike Majchrowitz joined Fox News Radio in October of 2005, as Congressional Correspondent. In that job, Majchrowitz has reported hundreds of news stories, including the Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives and the Senate in January of 2007. As an anchor for Fox News Radio’s long-form breaking news coverage, he has led our listeners through many of the major stories of the twenty-first century, including the Democratic and Republican Conventions of 2008, as well as the historic Presidential election of 2008 and the inauguration of Barack Obama as our 42nd President. Before joining Fox, Majchrowitz worked in TV and Radio news in Washington, DC, Chicago, Houston, and St. Louis.

Rich Johnson started at Fox News Radio as a General Assignment Reporter in April of 2005, as Fox was gearing up to launch the radio network news service. In 2007, he was named Fox News Radio’s first White House Correspondent. Since then, he has literally traveled the world covering Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Johnson has anchored and reported everything from Presidential speeches and campaign stops to the Super Bowl and the Olympic Games and more; taking time along the way to sample and report on the cuisine at many of his assigned stops. Prior to reporting for Fox News, Johnson worked in Seattle, Portland, New York City and Chicago.

Fox News Radio is a full-service radio news network, serving over 800 affiliated radio stations with hourly newscasts, audio newsfeeds, live coverage of major events and hundreds of audio newsclips and reports every day. In addition to being heard coast-to-coast on Sirius/XM, our newscasts, podcasts and blogs are on the web at www.foxnewsradio.com.
