Hot twoppic of the moment is International Women’s Day which is celebrated on the 8th of March every year. It started as a Socialist political event, but eventually became an occasion to garner political and social awareness of the struggles of women worldwide, and to celebrate their achievements.

In the spirit of celebrating women, your hot twoppic of the day and week is the Oscars, which aired Sunday night and for the first time awarded a woman the Best Director statue. Kathryn Bigelow took home the prize for “The Hurt Locker,”  the night’s big winner. FOX News Radio’s Sabrina Sabbagh has more. But not everyone was feeling the love –some thought blockbuster “Avatar” was snubbed. @DearHead tweets Give anyone a bunch of $$$, guns and sand and they couldve made “Hurt Lockr”.
