Everything is closed in New Orleans– everything! So I set out on a mission this morning to gather provisions. I found a small supermarket that was packed with cops on the corner of Canal and Royal Streets. I grabbed a basket and went to work. Among some of the delicacies I’ll be dining on this week — vienna sausages, pork rinds, moonpies, Nutragrain bars and PowerAde. I’m hoping my friend Sarah sends a care package.
